Building Your Pool - The Process
The Unique Gulf Stream Building Process
As we’ve said before, putting in a pool can be long and arduous. Good thing you have GulfStream Pools and Spas here to help!
1. Permits
The first step in getting your new pool is getting the relevant permits from the both town and county. Whether your pool is in Nags Head, Duck or Corolla, there are multiple permits needed to put in your pool. After the permits are approved, construction can begin.
2. Exacavation
The area for your pool is marked out. Then the excavator comes and digs a big hole in your yard.
The bottom of the hole must be graded precisely for your specific pool.
3. Plumbing
After excavating we start putting in the plumbing for drainage and water circulation. After we get all that done, we can put the pool form in.
4. Backfil
We backfill all around the pull to make sure your pool is stable and level.
5. Concrete Deck Pour
After the dirt settles, we put in the concrete deck and finish the plumbing and all the lighting. All pumps and other equipment can then be put in.
6. Cleanup & Startup
Now, the good part. We fill the pool up, get the water blue and you’re ready for swimming!
We’ll also setup a service plan catered to your needs so you don’t ever have to worry about maintenance or cleaning. We’ll do it for you.
Isn’t it great to be able to trust the professionals?
